Earlier this year I was asked by one of the managers from Cargo to do a shoot for their new cocktail menu and food platter. There were a few challenges for this shoot. Firstly, it was shot during the daytime and the natural light coming in from the Cargo Lounge windows was excessively harsh. However, I managed to fix this problem by covering the windows with thick table cloth sheets. Secondly, I only received the brief on arrival so I had to quickly skim through it while the cocktail and platter were being made. Luckily, the graphic designer was on location to give a hand in directing the shoot. Lastly, directing 4 people at once was harder than I intended. Just getting everyone in the right poses and arrangements was quite a challenge. I took a lot out from the shoot especially in the communicating/directing department and it was a joy to collaborate with everyone involved with the shoot.
